audience can connect well with malayalam movies because they portray social or family issues and are considered more realistic than films from other parts of India, inspite having relatively low budget movies it has pioneered more thematic , technical and production techniques among films in India... there is an honesty and simplicity in their acting....the shooting locations are perfect..from the cast to to the entire crew they work like family and the acting comes out to be so natural and with so much ease.....i think kollwood is an industry having set a standard for a variety of movies with excellent artists performing well.....
